Whats the best paint balls to use with a stock Tippmann a5?
Whats the best paint balls to use with a stock tippmann or just the best paint balls?
I believe its 68 cal Thx
And also im new to paintball so if u have any tips would be greatly appreciated
Welcome to the world of paintball! Most amazing sport ever.
I have a Tippmann A5 with a Flatline barrel. What you shoot out of the stock barrel really doesn't matter, as the stock barrel is not good in terms of accuracy or consistency. If you get a flatline barrel, the best paintballs to shoot that I have used so far are the green Marballizers. They are stronger than most paintballs, and are much less likely to break in a flatline barrel. Unfortunately, that also means that they are less likely to break on the target. Whatever you use, just make sure it isn't something horrible like Monster Ball.
As for general tips... I can tell you everything I know, but you would still learn more just by playing for a single day. A lot of paintball comes down to experience. However, I will try to give a few tips:
When playing in the woods, try to bring camo. If you think you see or hear someone, freeze. Motion will give you away, and someone else moving will be the easiest target to find.
When playing on set fields, make sure to keep your entire body AND your gun behind the bunker. A lot of new players leave the hopper sticking out and get it shot. Poke your head and gun out quickly, take a few shots, and duck right back behind cover. If you don't see anyone, don't sit there looking around. Also, don't be a jack-in-the-box; come out a different place every time, don't be predictable.
As for clothes, anything will do, but some clothes are better than others. Loose clothing will absorb some of the energy and make a shot more likely to bounce. Thicker clothing will take a little bit of the sting away, but don't wear a jacket if it is 95 degrees outside. I would recommend camo if you have some. Wear some old running shoes.
