Paintball (automatic)?
If i make the trigger longer so that it won't let the sear down, will that make it automatic.
I think i know what you're talking about but not quite sure you explained it correctly, because if the sear never goes down, the gun won't ever fire. So i think what you meant was to not let the sear go back up.
If the striker/hammer (or bolt, depending on the gun) isn't allowed to touch the sear, the gun will go into what appears to be full auto, but it's the equivalent of letting your gun lose control, which is very bad. It means the bolt & striker won't fully return every time so the gun will actually end up chopping paint like a blender. And the mad recoil would eliminate any hope of accuracy. AND your gun would then be deemed illegal to use on a legit field.
