paintball gun with eyes question?

okay i got a spyder electra 09 and when i first got it i had this crappy electric hopper that couldent keep up and when i would put it on automatic it would chops balls but the gun has eyes and it was right out of the box i though eyes prevent ball chops pls help?

It does, the "eye" senses whether the ball is completely in the chamber or not in order for the trigger to fire...if the eye senses its in their completely the trigger will fire
