Paintball Mask Fan

Paintball mask for a very sweaty person?

I love paintball, but I sweat so much that my mask fogs up in the first two minutes of play and the game always ends in disappointment and pain (you may wonder why I like paintball at all...well, those first two minutes are fun). I've used Tippmann and Brass Eagle $20 masks and tried anti-fog spray, spit, soap, but they do not help one iota. What is the best non-fogging mask I can get--one that WILL NOT fog up. That's the only requirement. Price is not much of an object, but I'm shooting for under 100 U.S. dollars. I've also heard of in-mask fan systems--do you recommend them?

JT Proflex. It's the only mask i've worn that has never fogged on me (aside from a Sheridan Prowler but i installed a homemade fan in that).

Speaking of which, you can rig up a mask fan in your existing mask(s) with minimal electrician skills. Just need a cpu fan (1x1 inch or smaller; you can also find 25x25mm fans designed for laptops - both sizes can be found online for roughly $5-10), some wire & a battery clip. If you want some control of the fan, insert an on/off switch into one of the wire paths.

Anyway, the Proflex is a fantastic mask, and you won't need any anti-fog gimmicks like sprays & junk. The mask comes with a dual-pane thermal lens, probably the best at battling fog.

Don't forget to wear some headwear to catch sweat (sweatband, bandanna, hat, etc), as that can assist in preventing fog (less moisture to evaporate & collect on the lens).
