Paintball!!!?

I am 14 years old, and I will be going paintballing for the first time. I have never experienced any type of paintball game in my life.

I want to smoke my friends, so I was wondering if anyone has any good advice.

Any pointers???

Your advice is greatly appreciated, and remember: best answer receives 10 + POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, don't be afraid to get hit. The first hit will sting for a couple seconds, but you will get used to it as the day goes on and won't feel it as much.

It is also harder to hit you when you are running then when you are sitting, so unless you have a killer position that you can't get hit from, move around.

If you're using a rental gun, remember that they won't be as good as the personal guns people have, so you will have to come in a little closer to hit people.

If and when you get hit, go out. You will probably see other people get hit and wipe off the paint when the ref isn't looking, but that is not a good thing. All the people I play with absolutely hate people that wipe off paint, and they make it a point to go after them. You don't want that on your first day.

Other than that, just go out and remember its just a game. Have fun.
