i have a spyder xtra paintball gun up grades?

i am 13 and looking into trying to do teams(paintball) and i have a spyder xtra. i have a couple questions 1. is it a good gun for doing teams 2. what upgrades should i get for it 3. if it is bad what gun should i use 4. also my valve something ( i dont know correct name) is worn down so my co2 leaks where could i buy this at. thanks to whoever asks
bruiser i play mostly speedball and mostly play middle to explain i wait in the spawn to see if i can pull off a few shots on people then usually charge up the sides im a little new to paintball but i got $ so i am looking for a decent gun if you see this leave you email

if your spyder xtra is leaking i'm really not surprised, its an extremely low end gun.

i would upgrade, spyder are typically awful for almost everything.

try looking online for a new gun, especially action village, they have a huge catalog.

technically, there is no real answer. for me to tell you what kind of gun to get, you need to tell me what style you play, woods or tourney? and at that, are you a front man or a back man? all of these pieces of the puzzle make a world of difference. email me and i'll give you the best option for your price range.

but i will leave you to say look into Smart Parts' Ion. its under 300, highly customizable, and an all over good gun.

EDIT: JJ, sounds like you'd be best suited for what we call a "Saber". sabers are mid-range, mid armed players, found in the middle of the pack carrying roughly 600-800 rounds of ammo. you should get a gun that needs to be reliable and can pump out an impressive BPS. also, you need to get an after market barrel to increase accuracy, as you aren't exactly up-close and personal.
