Paintball Upgrade Kits
paintball question?
ok i have a tippmann a-5 with a response trigger but i want to upgrade it so i can compete with my friend who has an ion i was thinking of getting the e-grip, the low pressure kit, the flat line barrel, and the double trigger, i also have the cyclone feeder but i think i might want to remove that and put in a normal feeder because i have been told that the cyclone cant handle anything over 20 balls per second so what i want to know is ways to upgrade the gun to make it more competitive and what i might need or do thanks for the help
I believe the response's mechanical limit is 15-16bps, so you would need to get the e-Grip for that side of it. As far as changing out the cyclone....I don't think that can be done (with out sinking a fortune in custom work). The Cyclone can be upgraded, get the vortex modification, Lightning rod, and a QEPH, this will allow you to get upwards of 25-27bps. I have heard of A5's that shot 30bps but I have never seen one.
