Why are there paintball swabs when there are squeegees? And what is the difference?

do you need both? if not , which is better. The microfiber swab vs the pull through squeegee.

I prefer to bring both when i go play. The squeegee gets more of the paint out but you have to remove the barrel or hopper to feed it through, at least with most guns. and that takes more time then im willing to spend out of the fight. So i use the swab while were playing so i can just shove it down the barrel real quick and get the worst of it out and that's usually enough to get your gun firing normal again. Then once the match is over i use the squeegee to get the rest. But you can also just bring some paper towels with the swab, then rip off enough paper towel so when you ball it up it should fit snug into your barrel then use the swab to force it through and that should get all the paint out. Soft paper towel's are something you should be bringing to a paintball game anyway.
