Gun is the big part. If it is scratched up then value goes down. Everything working, you got everything pretty clean, then I would give about $450. Ask higher and then negotiate down. I'm guessing you're trying to sale it. Appearance is everything though.

Check your owners manual. There should be a volicity screw somewhere that you turn down. I am not sure where its located on a X-7.

what upgrades should i get for my paintball marker?

i just bought a spyder electra acs. it can shoot around 30bps but i know the VL electronic hopper it came with cant load that fast. what are the first upgrades i should get and what should i buy first?
i was leaning towards getting a crossfire 68/4500 nitro tank since i heard that co2 gums up the internals after a while. i already purchases a smart parts progressive 14" barrel ('06 model). a hopper may be next on my list- halo b or draxxus pulse depending on how much cash is on hand. what about regulators and boards? important at all?

again, what should i buy first? this will be a long upgrading process for me until i eventually just crack and get a good gun like a dye, bob long, or angel 1. (i dont have that much money right now)

With your markers stacked blow back design co2 doesn't damage it anywhere near the point of having to strickly use hpa. A simple siphon tube installed in your current co2 tank will do wonders for efficiency. Hpa does help your spyder for consistancy and through harsh climates. The progressive is a nice barrel upgrade and i'd suggest a vlocity or halo loader. Regulators on the spyder will not do much considering the markers needed high operating pressure and an aftermarket board for the electra will not prove enough gained performance for what you'll pay. I would go with the loader, then the tank issue, and some comfort parts (drops,grips,ect.) Pbreview.com has reviews over alot of these parts and gear. Take care

A snappy dual bearing trigger and stylized grip panels complete the Closer package. Direct out of the box the Closer is all that your game desires. How it WorksThe Closer firing sequence begins when the trigger is pulled activating the micro switch. If the break-beam infrared eye system senses that a paintball is properly staged in the breech the motherboard energizes the solenoid coil opening its valve. This volume of air travels through a passage where it terminates against the back face of the ram. The ram is accelerated forward by said volume of air pushing the bolt which pushes the staged paintball into firing position. Once the staged paintball is in firing position the ram continues forward even further engaging the poppet shaft. The poppet valve is forced open. A blast of air rushes from the primary air chamber through the poppet valve housing. This air blast is then redirected around the primary air chamber through the bolt toward the paintball accelerating the ball to 300 FPS in less than 6 inches of barrel length. During this process the solenoid coil has already been de-energized redirecting a volume of air through another passage where it terminates against the front face of the ram. Finally this volume of air accelerates the ram backward allowing the poppet valve to close while withdrawing the bolt. Now the on-deck paintball will fall into the staged position and the firing sequence may begin again. Whatâ€™s New and Innovative?The Marq Series was engineered for speed. Ease of maintenance and repair were also at the for-front of this markers revolutionary conception. The inline regulator receptacle has been combined with the mainbody and the grip frame sports a thin light weight design the width of a common 9 volt battery. I'm buying a Tippmann A5 Paintball marker from a friend, how much do you think i should pay?

My friend is selling me his Tippmann a5.
The stock barrel has been replaced with a teardop 14" barrel.
The stock trigger has been replaced with a double trigger.
The CO2 tank hose attachment is modded with a foward drop.

he's selling it with 5 pods, a harness/podholder. mask, bag, and tank.

how much should i pay for this?

150 is decent if the gun is in good shape. A new base-level A-5 starts at around $200, and with the add-ons, you'd be looking at closer to $275-290.

The pods are cheap, the harness could be $20-50 depending on the brand and capacity, and the mask could be as cheap as $20 or as much as $50-90. I can give you more accurate estimates if you know the brands/models of the extras, but either way, it looks like you're getting a real good deal.

The important thing is how old is the A-5 and the mask, how much have they been used, and what condition are they in? If they are good, then it's a great deal, but you may still want to replace the lenses in the goggles if they are old, for your own safety. They usually run about $20 or so, and you can tell your friend that you'll split it with him, so you can knock $10 off the price (only if the mask isn't new)

Just Bought Anti Siphoned CO2 Tank for My paintball Gun?

I just bought an smart parts anti siphoned co2 tank for my spyder MR1. There is a little black sharpie mark on the valve part close to the on/off.Well when i completely screw in the tank the black mark is facing down and i was wondering if it was apost to be facing up or down because aint that where the anti siphon tube is,please some answer who has the tank.

The little black mark is supposed to be facing up. That's the direction the tube is bent.
