Tippman A5 APEX Barrel (Paintball)?
Ok, I've been looking for a new barrel for my A5 (currently have a 16" smart parts barrel) and I found the APEX barrel, however I can't seem to find how long it is because I'm mainly looking for another 16" barrel or shorter also if anyone has one can you please tell me if its worth it?
So basically how long is the barrel and is it any good?

The apex is just a tip mounted to barrels made to use them. THe barrel length can be whatever you want just have to buy the apex ready barrel or barrel witht he apex on it. Most apex barrels are 10", 12" with the apex on it. THe apex is a good barrel just takes some time getting use to adjusting it. For me it is more of a pain to have to mess with it then it is worth, but for others it is a great barrel. Works by creating spin on the ball just like the flatline barrel does, only difference is the apex can be adjusted to make the ball spin to the left, right, or whatever you want.
Barrel length between 12 and 16 is best for tippmann markers, you will only use more air when you use a barrel that is longer then 18 inches. You don't loose accuracy with a longer barrel what happens is the longer barrels like a 18 inch causes drag on the ball and so when the ball leaves the barrel the velocity (fps) drop faster then it normally would, you get better accuracy with a longer barrel but loose distance and use more air.
Most standard barrel length used is normally a 12" or 14" barrel.
