What's wrong with my paintball marker?

I just got a brand new Proto SLG 09 paintball gun/marker and a WGP Stratos air tank. Today I was shooting it for the first time and it shot great, but when I went to screw the tank off it wouldn't turn. I kept trying and I eventually pressed the bleed button on the SLG and it came off. I'm the kind of person that once I fix the problem, I cause it again so I can see if I know how I fixed it. The second time I went to unscrew the tank, I did exactly what I did the first time, but this time it didn't work. I had to completely bleed the tank to unscrew it from the gun. If you know what went wrong or what I did wrong, please tell me and thanks for reading.

try using some lube on the o-ring, or take it to ur local paintball shop
